Richard Szostak is a passionate sports mad individual. He has played Rugby (both Union and League) Basketball and competed for his local Athletics club. He has come from a Sports Development background having previously worked for Kirklees Sports Development, RNIB, private sports coaching companies and England Athletics. His main driving force now is to introduce sport to people who otherwise would not get involved with sports. These can be for reasons of income, poverty and deprivation, but more extensively disability. He has also worked within the disability sector for over 20 years, his work involved the following groups, MENCAP, RNIB, SEND school and colleges, specific Autism groups and the Downs Syndrome society.
Louis Speight is an ex para wheelchair sprinter who was the European record holder in T33 classification for the 100, 200 and 400 meters. He studied sports science at Leeds Becketts University, specialising in rehab and has presented his work at national conferences. He has worked extensively in the health and social care sector, and at all different levels of the NHS.
Billy Melia is our apprentice coach. He is qualified multi-skills and football coach. He is a keen footballer and all round athlete.
Nimrah Ali loves her sport, she is keen footballer and boxer. She is currently studying for a BTEC in Sport at Dewsbury College.
She volunteers for Omnis on Saturdays and during the school holidays.
